Thanks to the web, it seems that every little proclivity or passing fancy has become fetishized. I mean c'mon, SHOE DANGLING????

This one at first seems a bit commonplace, but upon closer inspection this guy actually has something to say:



Unfortunately, this genre is either shunned or ignored by the mainstream and only finds a home in B-movies, comic books, and cartoons - the primary entertainment medium for geeky introverted adolescent males (and some of us just never grow out of it).
